On this particular chair the armrest connect the backrest to to the seat so with one of them broken the chair is useless. This chair had clearly been opened before. All the packaging was ripped, and things like screws were all over the place. The chair was dirty, and a lot of the silver finish was gone off the base. Makes me wonder if somebody owned it and sent it back. Anyhow, not enough screws came with it, and of course only the company makes the exact screws you need, which are not standard size. The company did give me back half my shipping. But when the screws arrived it took hours of struggle to get this thing together. You will need a standard wrench to tighten things up. Just use it to turn the Allen wrench. After having followed the directions, I found there was no way to attach the back without partially disassembling the sides. The chair back is simply too wide to fit if both arms are tightly secured.Then of course, the very last screw can't go in because the holes won't align on one side. It is a comfy chair, but... Great chair for its price. I love the design of this chair, it’s very classy and gives my office a professional look. It attracts client from clients and the envy of a few colleagues.
The installation was quite easy, although I had help from a colleague who uses the same. Noticed the extra components that came with the package…very thoughtful of the manufactures, just incase some get missing during reassembly, there is a spare to replace it.
The cushioning is extremely comfortable unlike previous chairs in which I eventually get tired of sitting down. The back rest is relaxing and comfy. The wheels roll smoothly and the arm rest are in good positioning providing adequate support, very durable. Above all it’s a great chair for its price.
